40 Years of Dedicated Service
For over 40 years, St. John of God Community Services (also known as the School for Special Children) has proudly provided services to thousands of children and adults with disabilities. Founded by the inspiration and dedication of five committed members of the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God, the school continues to be a recognized leader in the field of special education.
Over the past three and a half decades, St. John of God has continued to expand its programs, update its services and meet the challenges and needs of the community it serves by maintaining its important mission: to assist persons with disabilities from birth through adulthood to develop their skills to the fullest potential, and to offer them opportunities.
